I took a day off work yesterday with Ted (busbyea ) and Dan ( dancad ) , to go to Algonquin Park ( 3 1/2 hour drive ) in search of the as it turns out the not so hard to find Spruce Grouse , arguably one of the prettiest of all Grouses , this bird is a new edition to my lifelist and allthough the conditions in the spruce bog/ forest enviroment that we found him in were not ideal for photography, I'm real happy with them , hope you all enjoy C & C welcome :)

Very nice Wayne, I agree they are one of the prettiest grouse, I've only had one chance at these and that was with the S3is, in tough lighting, in a thick woods. I gotta get back there :D. Well done.
