Clarks's Grebe and others

While at the Palo Alto Baylands I saw three grebes near the parking
lot. I thought they were Western Grebes (which we have a lot here),
but when I got closer, I saw there were Clark's Grebes. Usually they
don't let you get too close, but these guys were too busy eating to
notice. I knew it had to be something good for them to stick around.
When I checked out the photos I could see they were feasting on
shrimp. These were taken with the 20D, 300 f2.8LIS plus 1.4x TC.

I like the Grebe pics especially. This is one Grebe that we don't have around here.

Thanks Reyno. Getting a new bird is always a thrill. Just a couple of months ago
I got my first Clark's Grebe, and now I've seen 4 more, so it seems to go in spurts.
This is only my second oriole. I got a Hood Oriole pair last summer.
