Came across this new website. It looks interesting and useful, especially for a forum like this:

http://www.pixel-peeper.com (external link)

Seems like a "beta" (or "alpha") version but runs smooth and has plenty of full-size images from many different lenses. You can specify a lens, search specific parameters such as viewing only certain focal lengths or apertures, on certain bodies, etc.

I like it.

hardly consistent results from different lense that's on there. mainly cuz it just samples from flickr full size images but plenty pics on flickr are post processed from little to major and u can't really tell how much pp there is in to it sometimes.. great for lookin through nice pics though lol..

nice site but most of the images are post processed.
It's really hard to gauge the true ability of a lens with that.

I see CA's that were fixed, extreme over sharpening, color enhancements, level alterations in just a few of the pics I looked at.

That's little more than a pbase gear search for flickr. Doesn't mean anything other than being a cute way to filter by equipment and see full rez images. Won't help the pixel-peepers one bit other than maybe slapping them in the face with a dose of reality that they so desperately need.

Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here (external link). Cursing at your worse-than-a-map reflector? Check out this vid! (external link)
