Same specimen that Wayne posted earlier, and that most likely Ted will post too soon...:D

We drove over three hours to see one and once there it only took a few minutes to locate this guy. What an approachable and extremely beautiful little bird. We found him in a tree and within what seemed like seconds it came down and landed right beside us and strutted around. I had my 100-400 on and almost never used it at the full 400mm (all these taken between 105 and 170mm). First one is 1/40s.!!

it was an amazing day wasn,t it , you really caught this guy in some nice poses , I especially like the first one on the moss covered log ,,,, beautiful shots buddy ,,, I'm trying to figure out when I can get up there again lol
