Hello,

This thread is maybe a little bit off topic, but as I am a digitaL shooter  I don't know where I could ask this question elsewhere.

Next week, I'm going on vacation in FLorida. My main camera is a D60.
And as a backup camera I've borrowed a friend's canon EOS 100 body.
So my question is : what kind of film should I use ?
It will mainly be used to shoot landscapes with my brand new 17-40L  .

Thank you for your inputs,

MikeG

D60 backup

 I used slide film for about 15 years befor going digital (D60). I suggest using Kodak Elite 200 for taking pictures, providing you are not afraid to use slide film. I can't help you with print film. Good luck.

For print film I'd recommend Fugi Superia 100 & Fugicolor Press 400.

Fuji Velvia 50. Superb colour saturation and sharpness. Take your tri-pod! :D

If you have the time to setup & shoot without rushing I would recommend Fuji Velvia 100. If you don't want to use e-6 film I would recommned Fuji Provia 100/400 and always bracket. Take a lightmeter with you.
