It's almost May, and we have NOTHING while others like EUROPE and CANADA are filling out the rebate forms. Com'on Canon, atleast give us something instead of nothing.

I hope there's no new rebate soon. Might push me over the edge to a 5d, lol.

I decided to forget the rebate and make the purchase. Waiting would just delay my fun. I just bought a 30D. Couldn't wait for a rebate.

Still think they haven't ironed out the last rebate so they are waiting. I'm guessing they will wait until summer starts. Thank heavens I'm done buying stuff for awhile. Otherwise, I'd be tempted again!

I just received my rebate check last Tuesday and I mailed the information March 3rd. My guess is they are still sifting through the last rebate forms. From the complaints I read here and on FM, I would say the whole thing is a mess for Canon. The company they use to get it done is so bad that Canon ends up having to lay hands on many of the rebates anyway due to complaints so it probably isn't saving them any money or time to have another company do it and they don't want the staff to do it themselves. Just my opinion though.

I doubt they'll wait until summer. Probably the beginning or the middle of may I can see them starting up again.

Oh boy, I can't wait! Probably $10.00 for the 30D and maybe $20.00 for the 5D if we're lucky.

It seems like Canon is in s...........l...........o...........w motion in the US for rebates and stop motion for announcing a new 40D!

I get so disgusted I could spit! If I had any Canon stock I would sell it!;)

Yep, just like last year. Oh wait, except last year people got 5D's for about $2200 after rebates (doubled of course).

Yep, that was me. I got the 430EX and the 5D and paid around $3000 for both and got $620 back. It was a bargain.
