hd photo on xp?

Just wondering if its possible to get hd photo support on windows XP. HD photo is the new file format that comes with Vista for images, supposed to be much better than JPEG. THere seem to be a whole bunch of donwloads on Microsofts website, and I've tried downloading them, but no luck so far.

If anyone can get windows xp to use it I'd be interested to know!

Its a much smaller file format with better compression quality than JPEG.

Although I delete lots of the my raw files that suck, I like to convert them all to small JPEGs for memorys sake, and the new file format would give me better quality for the same or less space.
