Do I need to download anything else ? I have a rebel XT, and photoshop cs2. I did not install any software that came with the camera. I want to try raw and never have before. I did download this dng converter from adobe ( DNG camera 4.0 ), can someone tell me if I am ready to get started, and I will try and figure out how to best use it myself. But if there are any links on tutorials for this converter, I would appreciate it, thx

If you want to start playing with RAW, you'll need to update your version of Adobe Camera RAW. If you've updated your CS2 from the web, then you'll already have this.

I just checked, I set the camera to raw only and then I saw a raw file after, but jpeg plus raw is not working, like I said, it produces 2 jpegs with the same file number ( with a nother number in brackets ). Do I bring back the camera ? Is this a defect ?
