Okay...finally
I went to Calumet Photographic (the camera store) to get my DRebel. They had a Canon event, so I had a small discount, plus there was a canon rep over there, and as soon as he saw me buy the camera he started giving me free stuff
I got a cool must-own Canon EOS bascall cap, a nice Canon pen with a strap (for when I need to calculate DOF->Aperture->Shutter speed 
) and a cool carrying case. God bless canon. The salespeople started jokin around with the canon rep telling him to give me a Lens... too bad he didn't fall for it hehe.Oh, and..... guess what I got to touch ? Yup, he had three 1DMk2 laying around, so I played around with one of them... I didn't spend too much time on it, cause I would have just been tempting myself, but it felt really good in my hands. I got a poster instead :P
Anyway, today was a good day.
I'm waiting for the battery to charge, and I'll go take some pix.

Noo, I did not get that lens. Just the kit lens so far (18-55mm f3.5). I haven't been in the "EOS" world before, but I have been into photography for the past 2 years or so (I used to be a Nikonian
