Your C&C is that #1 is 'Exceptionally Great' while 2 and 3 fall in the 'Great' category .

Reyno "C&C" are you kidding, I would love to get the shots you post continually. How much time weekly do devote to this passion of yours ? What is keeper rate out of say 100 shots ? How long have you been taking bird pics ? Maybe this could be a new thread and everyone could post there answers.

Let me answer your questions one at a time Chris.
1. I go out almost every weekend(sometimes weekdays) for two-to-three hours normally in the early mornng or late afternoon.
2. Not sure about the keeper rate but I've observed that over time, it has increased as a result of looking back what I did and what mistakes I made. The reason for this is, over and over, I know I'll be faced with almost, if not the same situation, the next time. As such, it helps me to avoid the same mistakes over and over again.
3.My interest in photography in general began just a little over a year ago when I decided to take on this gig by purchasing my first DSLR - Rebel XT. Since then I've been hooked. One important point though, because I didn't have any prior experience and knowledge of photography, except fo those thousands of posterity shots I took of family and friends with disposables and P&S, I enrolled at NYIP which, until today, haven't been able to finish the course.

Best regards - Reyno

Excellent Reyno. Love the detail in the feathers. If the image was any sharper, it would be a lethal weapon! :D ;)
