I spent 10 days in the D.C. and New York areas taking in the sights. Shot 3000 photos and only about 6 of them birds (seagulls off the ferry). Carried my 17-40 and the 70-200 most of the time. Had a couple good looks at a cardinal but didn't have the bigma with me at the time. Hope to get out to the wetlands Monday and resume shooting our fine feathered friends. Dennis
