Did you upgrade from another Canon digital? Did you notice that the vertical shutter release was really sensitive? Anyone who hasn't looked through a full frame viewfinder with a ~16 mm lens doesn't realize how much the 1.6 crop takes away.

You shouldn't have any problems getting used to it. Just remember to keep an eye on the settings.
