I'm glad I didn't get dizzy, cause I was crawling on rocks under the bridge and almost slipped a number of times without the dizzy. :)

It took me a little while to figure out the directions of all the plains but I've got it now. Must have been really difficult to shoot these, but you did well. I hope you find the time to go back with the flash, at ISO 1600 your poor camera deserves a round of applause :)

Thanks Bea and Jason.

Bea, all of these were taken from the angled bank under the end of the bridge, shooting up and under where the sidewalk is. And yes, I need some sort of flash extender as I tried the 550ex flash the other day and it didn't do the job. Too far out to the first nests, say 35-40 feet or so.

Jason, the rocks under the end of the bridge where I was are big, but not big enough to be stable. Some of them tilt when you walk on them, and a couple times I almost fell. There was a guy in a boat, fishing, and he must have seen me wobble, cause he even yelled out. :)

Not sure what the heck the sparrow thought he was doing, but the swallows didn't pester him. Crazy bird.
