Sailing in Santa Cruz

I went to shoot some surfers in Santa Cruz but it was too windy. I saw these guys getting ready to return to the harbor. It's my first time shooting boats.

The sun was setting and I was shooting into it which is why they're low contrast. I tried to increase the contrast but I didn't like the result. I think this looks better. What do you guys think?
