Every now and then you print one of these shots and have to admire the contrast and coloration some species are blessed with. The male goldfinch has to be one of the prettiest birds we have around here.

Nice color and composition. One of our best forecasters of the season. The goldfinches turn from green to gold and the juncos move out. More fun than watching leaves open.
