Very nice AJ. I am hoping to get some nice photos of these guys during our visit to California in July.

Well done.

These are really nice, AJ.
I like the typical pose of the last shot.

Very nice. I like them all...and though the last one really catches my eye, I think there was a leaf in front of him, or something which causes a slight cast over the wing.

Nonetheless, I have never seen a bird such as this...and I think you did a great job displaying it. Thanks for sharing.

Pretty, AJ. While I tend to prefer natural perches like you've got in several of these, I like the leg-up pose in the first image.

Sure makes me miss these birds. I haven't seen one since living up at 10,000 feet in Colorado years ago.

Great series.

I especially like #4. That's a great pose with some very nice background there.

Thanks all, these Jay's are so fun to watch, sometimes I forget to take the photo as I am so busy watching them. Apparently, I managed to get a few in spite of my amazement. Thanks!!

Great series here A.J. I only managed one poor shot of this species when I was in Washington State last June. They are still nice looking birds.
