I'm considering a used 20D from B&H. Price is good, looks like it also has a 90 day warranty from B&H. How is their rating system? The Camera is rated as in 10 condition.

B&H is an honest and reputable dealer.
Click on the 10. A pop up will explain the rating system.

Guess you should ask them.

I recently purchased a used 20D from B&H with no problems whatsoever - turns out the camera was refurb'd by Canon. I suspect all of their used 20D's are refurbs.

I doubt you'll be able to wheel-and-deal with them for a lower price but you can try. Worse they can say is "no".

Gear: Kodak Brownie and homemade pin-hole cameras. Burlap sack for a bag.

Well, I guess I'll find out in a few days. Just pushed the button on a 20D body . If it turns out to be a refurb, so much the better.

I've purchased used from B&H with no problems. It was only camera accessories, not a body but the rating system seems to be right on as far as condition goes.

for a 20D to be a 10 it has to be refurbed. if it had been used and returned it would be a 9 or 9+

Congrats. The 20D is a great camera. I still use mine all the time. It's been over a year and a half since I bought mine, but I clean it regularly and keep it free of dust as much as possible and it performs like new. I love mine.
