Thanks to everyone, I was convinced to get this lens. Been lurking for about a year now admiring all the pictures.

My copy seems to produce sharp images at every aperture setting. From what I've read, this lens is sharp throughout its aperture range. The 2 pictures, above your posted question, are: First pic is @ f 16 and the second is @ at f8.

Great shot! We went there at 7am to avoid all the tourists and get an equally empty feel.

Wish I had more time for this photography thing....

This is image is absolutely worth repeating!!! Great image of Petra Fugu_Oniuneg!!! I love the 'framing' that the passage provides to the facade, much more interesting IMHO than if you would have just waited to leave the 'tunnel' (I'm missing the right English word, I know its not a tunnel) to take a fully 'clean' picture.

Just fantastic! Thanks for sharing,
Rafa.

Favouille 83, did you have a filter on for that shot? The 10-22 would not normally give that amount of flare, even with the sun in the scene.

Mark.

Spent Easter in Berlin and took the 10-22 specifically for Norman Foster's dome on the Reichstag.
