Is there a difference between Adobe 1998 and sRGB should I set my camera to shoot sRGB?

Indeed there is.

I was having the same probelm (I was using Adobe), I then ran across a thread that helped me understand that for web posting and such I should convert to sRGB. I read about the diffrences and it was, well sort of confusing for me so I just switched and now use sRGB and no conversion is needed.

There's also a few links in it.
