I know this probably isn't the right forum to discuss film photography, so mods, feel free to delete.

I've just aquired a 35mm manual SLR and some Fujifilm NEOPAN 100. I thought I'd experiment and took the camera out into my home city of Cambridge to see if I can put into practice some of the skills I've learned from digital.

Anyway, I went to get the film developed, and nobody seems to be able to process B&W film (jessops, boots etc). Why is this? Does anybody have any suggestions?

try transpacolor.com or peak-imaging.com - I'd recommend them both, although I now use transpacolor normally.
Same charge as colour negs for developing.

I get them developed and scan them myself. I've had great results from transpacolor with Ilford FP4 & HP5.

I use a Minolta Scan Dual III - It's not bad considering...

Develop the film yourself, it's an easy process; there are many tutorials online.

5D, 20D, 16-35L, 24-70L, 24-105L, 85[COLOR=Red] f1.2 L[COLOR=Black], 70-200 f2.8 IS L, 50 f1.4, 35 f2, 580EX, 430EX...etc.
