Hello Everyone, I'm new to the forum and love the pictures. I would love some C/C. I wont get offended, please give me your honest opinion, even if you don't like them. These are my first attempts at photographing wildlife. While on a vacation in Big Bear, CA I decided to go on the balconey, sit still, and try to coax some birds to fly by a designated spot. I achieved this by placing peanuts on the railing, and boy did they come LOL...
I was about 10 feet away, manual focus on the peanuts. These were shot raw and cropped, sharpened, and boosted some saturation. Two reasons for the manual focus:
1. Max burst rate.
2. Not very confident in my camera/lens focus speed and accuracy.
Sorry if the pictures aren't large enough. Photobucket won't accept high resolution photos.
I'll post some vacation photos next...in the appropriate forum of course..
