If you have a selections with say the magic wand, and the maigic wand actually selects some areas you do not want you switch to QM mode and paint in or out the area of your selction to fine tune. You can use the paint brushes and modify, now when you go back to normal mode you get your "marching ants selections" in the new area you jsut painted in or out. Photogrpahy is a passion of mine.
