Is there a way to change b&w photo to color?

Is there a way in photoshop or another program to change a black and white photo to color or add color? I looked around and I'm not sure. Thanks for any help on the subject.

I dont think you would be able to get a program to do it for you. How is the computer supposed to know that is a leaf, and secondly it should be say green.

I think the only way of doing it is to selectively colour it yourself...

I didn't think there was a magical solution but I had to ask. I wasn't sure. Thanks.

theres a program called Recolor i believe... works ok. you just paint in an outline of color and it fills it in. Try googling it at flicker..im sure theres a group of people there who recolor for a living..lol
