Here are a few from Saturday. Sorry for the color. I'm trying to learn CS on a pentium 266 laptop loaded w/ XP and a bad screen. I'll re-process when I get home next month.

maybe it's just because the images are reduced for web but they look way oversharpened, especially the last three. for the sunset images I would have been far more interested in seeing more of the blue sky so that the whole image wasn't bleeding with red and yellow tones...

Yeah, those did turn out over sharp. I blame it on my crap laptop. I'll reprocess when I get back home this month.

The one with the couple in the sunset was shot w/ a Tamron 28-200 @ around 150mm.

I really like the shot of the sunset @ 150mm! Only thing that bugs me is that the light house looks like the leaning lighthouse of Michigan ;)

Fell in love with photos.. made lots of money.. fell out of love with photos.. took a long break.. trying to find my love again.

After working in Michigan for 6 months, I have come to the conclusion that there's always somthing screwed up about everything in the state, so it might actually be leaning.

Here's another one to reinforce my point. I went to 2 state parks on saturday, wouldn't you know it, I pull up to the Ranger booth and its on the right hand side of the vehicle. No power windows in my company truck so I have to get out and talk to them. Would have been much easier to put it on the left side of the road.

Here are the re-processes. I'm still learning PS but I think these are more accurate.

I like your second series better, esp. #1. I hope to get to the sunset side of Michigan later this summer myself.
