i was hiding in the long grass to get these but worth it to me and very happy with the whitey :)
5d -500f4isL +1.4tc around 200iso and 1/1500sec.

The Whitethroat shot rocks! Love the pose,( looks like he is singing) and the eye. Wonderful BG and the bird pops nicely on my monitor. Excellent!

Yes, the white-throat is especially nice! Sharp and contrasts perfectly with the bokehed BG. Good work, Rob!

That whitethroat is a bit special, Rob.

You could probably afford to lose the bottom 1/6 of the frame to get rid of some of the "clutter".
