I had a feeling i would find these sooner or later,

The heron pic's i have posted not too long ago have been hanging around up in a secluded area for a while now but soon as they caught sight of me they flew away,

Well i haven't been there for a few weeks and decided to today, Glad i did i saw the heron pair again but they were not playing ball they took flight soon as they saw me, i thought same old story, But this time they took to the trees and stayed within site of me the whole time i made my way round the small lake, this was new to me they always flew off into the distance.

And this is why.....

Thanks for looking

Nice pics. You are very lucky to find ground-nesting herons. Most build nests in colonies at the tops of tall trees.
