I'm not sure where is the right place for this...

but for those of you that deals in or needed Windows Multilingual Users Interface packet, take note that unless you cough out the extra money to upgrade ur vista OS, i advice you to stick to XP for now, or use a mac.

I have already heard numerous reports regarding the dissatisfaction of Windows Vista. XP for me, thanks.

vista is launched @ 4 different prices, and naturally, 4 different prices = 4 different stuff that you can do and cannot do...

XP home vs XP pro was still ok because it only dealt in networking difference... but now, locking multilingual packets... horrible..

God forbid a company wants to make money. Buy a mac.

Vista is probably going to be the last monolithic OS. You can see here how everything is going the way of being made into a module. In theory this is a good thing and how every OS should operate. But I bet in the future everything will be sold to you ala carte, need to print? $5... Looking to share files out on a network? $10. Record TV shows? $20. It has been a great model for printer and razor blade companies.

I have to ask though, why would buying a mac help? Apple likes to make money too.

Enough for Dell to actually tell MS to stick it.
Vista has been nothing short of lousy for any users around me.

2 dell laptops here and 2 vista installs. Happy except that Canon is dragging their heels with new software for Vista.

In 5 years people will resist moving to Happy Panda and want to stick with Vista.

Vista is working flawlessly for me on my new laptop. I like the interface a lot and would quite happily recommend people use it.

I wouldn't pay for the upgrade myself mind you, it doesn't feel different enough from XP to justify any cost...
