A day's shoot at the wetlands--some ID's needed please

Here are some of the birds I saw yesterday when I went to the wetlands. Hope there is something here of interest to you. Thanks for taking the time to look and for any ID's.

1)Male Kestrel

Dennis, these are all great shots, but the Kestrel is a fantastic shot. Amazing. I think #3 is an American Goldfinch and maybe a female in #5.

Mitch and Keith, very happy you liked the shots. The Kestrel is almost full frame. Thanks for your kind comments.

The yellow bird doesn't appear to have the black cap so that made me think it may not be a goldfinch. Other than that, it sure looks like it. Thanks for the ID's Mitch!

Thank you Bill for taking the time to look and for the nice comments! I know I've gotten photos of that Kestrel before but from a greater distance. They have this bird house set up near the Kestrel field (I call it) and it's the first time I've seen one pay any attention to it. Hopefully, I can look forward to more kiddy kestrels in the not too distant future!
