Just reminds you of that time that will never come again, when lenses were made of metal instead of plastic

They were also heavy as hell, but something about that "machined" look has always appealed to me. Like a fine tool that lasts a lifetime.

All the Zeiss ZE lenses are made in the same factory with essentially the exact same construction.

Oh I know, if i shot full frame id be all over one of those Zeiss ZE 85mm f/1.4s....

Heck I sometimes consider getting a ZE 50mm f/1.4 for my 30D..But just feel the Sigma is a better lens...Despite not being built as well
