Had some nice light this evening, so out I went to the local Osprey nest area.

That is tempting, When I bought mine it was $300 as well, $120...could be a spare for the next camera body ;). Naw, I'd better save my beans for the next upgrade.

But all joking aside, in good light, at the right distance, this $300 lens seems to hold its own, assuming the operator (me) pays attention to what he is supposed to be doing.:D
