I got lucky the other morning across from one of the local shrimp boat docks and fish market. It seems that about six or seven pairs of Great Blue Herons decided they would nest there. Apparently, they had been there for a while since the chicks had already hatched and were showing some age. Here are a few shots from that morning. I do beleive there was a daily supply of fish and shrimp from this waterfron market. Smart Birds! :)

Great shots again Keith. These herons are such hams. I've hurt myself laughing at some of the poses I've seen in this forum. :D

Outstanding shots once again. Love the pose in them all but the last shot shows very well how beautiful the Great Blue Heron really is Simply perfect. Excellent work as always Keith. :-)
