Just a quick one.... I hope.

Playing around with Adobe Gamma, and I've noticed that changing the sliders, in AG, to adjust Gamma doesnt actually change anything. I've played with the single slider, and then also checked the box that brings up RGB sliders but to no avail.

Monitor is an LCD. I did the same thing on my gf's laptop and the sliders make a big difference on her's. So, is it maybe making a very subtle change on my screen that I cant see or something, because Im expecting the sliders to make as much a difference as on her laptop??

Can anyone help? Is it a monitor 'thing' or a computer setting 'thing'?

I think it is a graphics driver thing. I had the same problem with an ATI card and I had to download a "hacked" driver to get it to work...

If by chance it is a Dell Flatscreen LCD, there were a bunch a while back that had the constrast and brightness controls switched around. So when you followed the instructions for doing the Gamma adjustment, everything got messed up right from the beginning.
