Has anyone gotten these to run in Photoshop Elements... when I add it in it runs an action, but I don't get the choice between Midnight Sepia, Midnight Blue, etc...

Hi everyone. I went to that site and found several things I wanted to download. But I have a few question. How do you open a zip file? And has anyone ever got a virus from dowloading from that site? Any info would be great!

Thanks,

Teeny:)

hello,

i can tell you i have downloaded prob 20 actions from this site with never any problem, its a great resource, also to open a zip file you can do it 2 ways i know of, if you are working with windows when you click on the master file in the left hand corner o fthe open window you should see something that says unzip file click on that then click on ok, it will then unzip it into a new folder. you can then delete the zipped file. or you can just oppen the zip file click and drag the atn file to the desktop and put it in a folder then uploaded it into ps. hope this helps. have a great day

Thx for posting the thread!! This is a fine action. Here it is at 20% opacity, plus a little lift from Aly's Color Action

I want to know also. Has anyone with CS3 tried these Sepia actions?

I also made the mistake of overusing an effect when I first discovered orton. But thanks to an "intervention" by friends plus a month-long stay in a recovery center, I am now cured! ;)

@AK - Thx for the comment; I got lucky and walked right up to that at my in-laws.

@cfc et al - The action works in CS3. Finish the photo as you would otherwise first, e.g. saturation, sharpness, then gently, carefully use this one.

@op x 2 -- This is really a great post and helpful.
