Found this Great Blue Heron the other day and I noticed he was flying a bit weird. Upon further inspection I found out why, I guess it's hard flying around with a 4 lb carb flapping around. I don't know how he's going to swallow that thing.

Thanks the second photo is not bad, but the first ( to me ) sucks.
It looks to me like it was taken with a camera phone. Very disapointed on the outcome, but it was a heavy heavy crop so I guess it's not to bad.

Cool captures of one of my favorite birds. Makes you wonder how he's going to get that fish down.

I have no idea how he's going to swallow that thing. It was wiggling all over the place. He must have dropped it 5 times or more before he tried flying away with it.

Nice catch. Jamie, he'll eat it. I've got shots of one eating a fish that big. The only problem he had was getting it over his head for the slide down the chute. :)
