I have found this product to be very useful to blow dust of the sensor. The fact that it's cheap doesn't hurt either.

The tip is made of teflon, and won't damage the edges of the lens opening. Naturally, you should not actually touch the sensor with it.

It appears to me the tip is too short. I have the Rocket Blowers that do an OK job until the sensor needs a pass by the copperhill method.

The tip reaches in far enough to touch the sensor (don't!) on a 20D. The blow can be very mild or quite strong, depending on how you squeeze.

The price is less than half that of the rocket blower, and availability is universal (at least in the U.S.). Even in the local town of 6000 there is a Radio Shack.

But hey! I own no Tandy stock. If you don't like it, don't buy it. If you already have a Rocket Blower, you don't need it.

That thing is designed for sucking, not for blowing.
There is no back valve on the nozzle side, which means that you’ll be sucking back the same dusty air you are trying to blow out.

What we see depends mainly on what we look for.

with the price of rocket blowers so low it would be better to use one of those.
