Heron

While I was at the Red kite feeding centre in Wales yesterday we got some unexpected visitors a pair of herons. They were hanging around in the background until the kites crows and buzards stoped feeding. These are my best shots of them, taken with 20d and 100-400, I was using AV mode and somehow managed to change my AV from f5.6 to f18 droping my shutter speed to 1/80 when changing my CF card. That will teach me to pay more attention to the info in my viewfinder in future. (Kites to follow later when I sort through the 500 images I took) C+C Welcome.
