Yeah, it's hard to appreciate the difference until you've actually used it. I love the wheel!

30D to me wins in the way it is set up, lot easier to use. I have used an XT and it drove me nuts.

Oh yeah~ 350D to 30D was a SWEET~* upgrade. :)
I loved what 350D could do.., but I was forced to use the V. grip.. so I could find a place for my poor pinky and ring fingers. Even then it was too darn narrow to get a good and comfy grip.. making my fingers to cramp up after half hour of usage.

Just upgraded myself, except from a 300D to the 30D.

Awesome upgrade, I love the pro feel and the wheel is to die for once you get used to it :)

Congrats !!

I too find the upgrade awesome.

The 350D is a great camera (I would have sold it if it wasn't), but the 30D is certainly worth the price difference.

Gordeez, yes it is... any of the 10, 20, 30d series just feel better built in your hand. I've used all of them. Now moving on, hopefully, to the 1-series.

Congrats! You will love it that was my upgrade from XT. After you have the 30D for a while you will want the 5D full frame and 12.8mp :D
