Hello guys...

Beautiful warm weather today for me in the midlands and had time to get some shooting in,

I could have stayed there all day but i was getting drowsy laying on the grass in that warm sunshine any longer i'd have been sock on.

Thanks for looking.

I love the Nuthactch, very nice capture. ;)

The Songthrush is nice, but is suffering a little from the harsh backlighting. Did you have to crop much for this shot? I only ask because i've not managed to get very close to a Songthrush yet, and the 400 just isn't long enough is it? :D

Thanks for the kind words guys,

Yeah it was a crop, the only way i could get close was to lay on the grass with my bean bag and resting on my bag to make my body into a smaller profile and less threatening to the bird, Thats why there was so much shine from the grass, with a low sun and all
