My Canon 1D is two months new to me. I also purchased a 550EX flash.
My question is about white balance when shooting fill flash on a sunny day.
Do I set the white balance on a sunny day or set the white balance to flash? Thanks.

Don't worry Griffo will tell you your settings LOL. AP scratched the settings meeting and Conroy said we would be getting a sheet with desired settings on opening day.

Nice to see one of the "old guys" from the 3rd turn make his way in here. You know we need to get more of us 3rd turners in here, ya think?

Can you imagine the tales between Dawson and Mahoney in the general chat forum? LOL

See you in a week 3rd Turn in, of course, the 3rd Turn.

On shooting sports...If you see it happen then you didn't get it.

It depends on the subject, of course. In general, you are trying to get most of your light from sunlight, and just a little bit in the right places from fill flash. So, I would set the white balance for sunny day.

Hell, try one with it set for flash, but I don't think it will be as good.
