Is it worth buying a refurb camera for a place like Adorama or Broadway Photo?
Thanks.

I just bought what I thought was a used 20D from B&H for $700. Turns out it was a factory refurb. Camera is new. Only 90 day warranty, but I figure that with most electronics if they work straight out of the box, chances are you won't have any problems down the road.

I think it may have had a 90 day warranty, but when the shutter died las month(I put about 70K shots on it) Canon took it and replaced the shutter for free.

Offers a refurb unit for a cheap price and when you try to buy it, then claims that the instructions for that model is in Japanese. Offers a more expensive refurb unit instead.
