I had great day at a local state park- A lot of fun!!

Cute little duckies and with those other two characters hanging around, they better stay close. Speaking of that, what are those two herons? They don't look familiar. :)

The first is a juvinelle Little Blue Heron, and the last is a Tricolored with a wicked nice hairdo.

great shots! thats a whole lot a duckings for one mama.

Thanks for comments- Billginthekeys do you know what type of bird this is? It was taken at the same park as the other shots.
Is the Chesapeke still in Islamorada? We use to stay there. Great place!

sorry about the long responce time, i was at the ft lauderdale air and sea show this weekend. Yes the Chesapeke is still here, and i cant blame you for liking it here :D. As mentioned that is a Purple Gallinule, and a fine shot, ive never stumbled across one myself.

I heard the air & sea show was awesome- Did you get any nice shots? Post em' if you did! If you ever get a little farther south -delray beach check out Green Cay wet lands it's one nice wildlife park.

it was awesome. i got a ton of shots and im still wading through them, should have some up within a few hours. Ive heard about Green Cay, i really have to go sometime.
