Been rearranging all my files over the last day or so, making sure everything is backed up at least twice!

Anyway, does anyone know of any decent backing up software for a mac that I can schedule to run daily?

Super Duper or Carbon Copy Cloner are both very good. I use CCC.

I'll second that and if you have a .mac account you get "back-up" and that allows you to back-up to drives, discs, etc

I only want to back up my image folder, not the entire drive.

Carbon Copy Cloner.

The ideal way to backup is to maintain at least three copies of the data that is most important to you: the original, a nearby backup, and an "offsite" backup -- something that is kept outside of your home or office in case something terrible happened where you regularly use your computer.

I rotate between 2 external HD's for daily backups and a 3rd for my offsite. As I don't work on my images daily, my schedule varies, but I'm never more than a week off. All of my "finished" images I also burn to a DVD data disc.

I have my internal HD, an external HD and then CD/DVD copies as well.

I just want something to automatically backup my internal HD to my external for me

I don't have a mac, but external hard drives crash like internals, I do believe you need at least a third source. On the good news, I'll be converting to mac soon! :)

True, but at least one backup is better than none
