what's the word on Ridata. I've only used Ultra II but considering Ridata. It's hard for me to bring on a new brand when I've only used the sandisk and I've never had any issues to date with them. Would the price and capacity help you swap or just stay with what you are familar with?

I suspect you could get many more in burst with a faster card.

A couple of years ago a friend got an XT with a 2GB fast CF card and he said it would take burst shots without stopping. Not sure, but I think he said he got 30 or 40 shots before he let up on the shutter.

I *think* he said they were all at full speed...

I JPEG it will shoot loads, but I only shoot RAW.

Cheers,

Sam

RAw or JPEG, the faster your card will accept the data the faster you'll get back to shooting.

I have Sandisk,Lexar and Kingston cards. They all work well. The reason to choose one over other was price and speed of writing to card. All brand name cards should be ok- once in great while a bad batch may surface.
Stay away from off brand cards- you will learn the hard way like I did.
