It's hard for me to bring on a new brand when I've only used the sandisk and I've never had any issues to date with them. A couple of years ago a friend got an XT with a 2GB fast CF card and he said it would take burst shots without stopping. Not sure, but I think he said he got 30 or 40 shots before he let up on the shutter. I *think* he said they were all at full speed... -js I JPEG it will shoot loads, but I only shoot RAW.

The reason to choose one over other was price and speed of writing to card. All brand name cards should be ok- once in great while a bad batch may surface.
