While waiting for the Sandhill Crane Family to do their morning walk-by, I notice this Great Blue Heron fishing off in the distance. He slowly made his way over to me after about twenty minutes. This was the only shot I was able to get of him. After the first click of the 20D's noisey shutter, he took flight. The Sandhills took an alternate route behind my hiding spot, so nothing from them today
. Slowwww morning.
Nothing like early morning light to cast a nice glow on the subject.
