I use the Spyder 2 Express and love it as well. I plan to upgrade to the pro if I go dual monitors later.

Another vote for the Spyder 2. It's easy to use and does an excellent job. I think that monitor calibration is one of those things that you can put off for ages, you always mean to get around to buying the kit and doing it but somehow just never get around to it, and besides it doesn't look that bad does it?

And then you actually do get around to it and the difference can be amazing. Once you get your monitor properly calibrated and then team it with icc printer profiles for the paper you're using you would never ever want to be without it. I haven't heard of many people who regret the purchase, I certainly don't regret buying mine.

cheers
Bill

im currently looking at the spyder2 pro but how does it differ exactly to the express version? I will be using 2-3 tft's, currently using 2.

The express does not offer dual monitor support so you can only use one profile per PC. The Pro also offers more control over calibration.

Correction, I have the Spyder 2 Suite, and even when the software said you can only use it on single monitor, you can calibrate 2.

The only thing is the software only calibrate the primary monitor. But the Profil Chooser support 2. So you desactivate the primary monitor, calibrate the secondary, then calibrate the primary monitor. It's only a little hassle and work fine. I don't know about 3 monitors. BTW, I use a single dual head video card. Might be different if you use two video cards.
