Great shots Steve! The shots are sharp! Your lucky you got the lens when there was light out. So much better than shooting boxes inside the house.:)

Congrats on your new lens Steve, its an excellent lens. Seeing your pictures of the "Clangers" bought a flood of memories back.

Liked your cat shot, also reminded me of this one I took with my 70-200 f2.8 IS.

Thanks Ken, yes the Clangers were always a childhood fav for me...... I've been enjoying the lens all day today at Badminton, bit of a sad day though with 2 of the Horses dying......

I'm really sorry to hear that news Steve, I'll break that bit of news gently to my wife, as she has a horse and rides.

Edit:

Just spoke to her, she thought one survived, I believe the ground was a very hard/dry.

afraid not.... one had a heart attack in the main arena and another was speared by a marker flag as it jumped wide on one of the fences and the flag snapped in 2 and one half went into the horses belly and pierced an artery, not a pretty sight - i was glad i was not at the fence the time but when i got home saw it as someone recorded the days events for us - the blood poured out like a tap! very shocking to see.... you might want to find a better way to describe it to your wife..... They will have to seriously rethink the how the flags on the jumps, they can't let it happen again.... simple solutuion, why don't they use the same flexible flags as they do for skiing.....
