Lastevening i went up to the cliff tops to see if i could photograph the moon as it began to rise from the horizon...missed it due to haze.. but i found my little friend instead!!! My dissapointment was shortlived when i saw him.. a much better reward than a moon lol..I startled him and he startled me.. but he let me get on my belly and inch closer n closer to him.. i so love my little Kestral!:)
I first photographed him 7 months ago.. never thought to see him again.
Bit grainy..lowlight handheld 30D 1/60 @ f/5.6 ISO 1000 300mm
Comments welcome and appreciated.

Lovely shot. I love the colours and detail in the rock, works well with the colouring of the Kestrel. ;)

Now that's a great shot. I love it. Did you use a flash?

Thankyou all:D
Booswalia.. no this was just natural light. I did have to bring him up a little with a levels adjustment. I took a couple with flash but didnt really like them to be honest.

Very unusual Kestral shot. Quite beautiful. I have rarely seen them just sitting on the ground, except to grab a bug!

A very different perspective on this beautiful little falcon. Great colors and angle in an environment that is quite pleasing to the eye. Nice work!
