Great Northern Diver (again. sorry)

I had heard that one of the two GNDS had moulted into the full summer plumage. I bombed down there but unfortunately he had gone. The other bird seems way behind in the moult but was still there and showing very well.

These are stunning!
I've never seen pics of them before only heard the name,. did not realize they are so similar to a Loon, but obviously this is so..

Downy - its still my duff lens but im just trying my best to compensate for the front focusing at the moment. and i wasnt lieing down promise! ( i was sitting in goose poo tho. :lol:)
