Nice series Trevor. I 'd guess the sparrow is a Savannah, but I'm not sure. I like #1--were you hand holding the lens or was it resting on something for #1? #5 & #8 are quite good of the grackle. This is a bird I have yet to photograph.

I like the first grackle shot. Kestrels are tough to catch, aren't they?

Love the robin shot. You must have had your chin in the grass for that one.
I would guess the sparrow is a Savannah, but I'm no expert on LBJs.
Great one on the Krestel. I havn't seen one since that one on the wire when we were out, and I'm nearly going off the road watching for them. Guess I should have snapped that one.

Thanks everyone for looking and commenting. :D
Shirley, next time we get out, we will have to make Kestrels a priority, shouldnt take too long to find one on a wire, and I want a good shot of one.:D

Nice series Trevor with the Robin being my favourite...a smile maker that one:) The first Grackle image works for me as well. The Kestrel is one tough bird to shoot and super hard to shoot in flight. The sparrow here is a Song Sparrow I think. The Savanah has a yellow to whitish eyebrow and no spot on the breast.

Gary Fairhead C/C welcome .....

Nice series. I like the robin shot and hoping the kestrel wasn't going after it. :)
