It was really really strange. I was balancing my checkbook and noticed some odd charges that I didn't remember placing. I had ordered mailing labels from them back in February, but didn't order anything from them in March or April, yet my debit card was charged TWICE for $14.95.
When I called them on it, they said "Thats our rewards membership fee that you signed up for." I NEVER signed up for a membership rewards program, and went off on this mission to get my money back. LOL
I contacted the BBB and sure enough....356 complaints against them for this "rewards fee". So, I filed a complaint and got all my money back safe and sound within 10 days. It's just so weird b/c one of my good friends from College uses them all the time and she's never had a problem.
hmmm, I was on some rewards program once and don't remember which company did it to me...maybe it was them, but I don't remember. I called up and had it cancelled and got all my money back. The company I remember telling me it was in the order process and I clicked to get the offer (umm, no I didnt!). I look over my statements like a hawk now, one year when I was on the road I came back to all my statements with that reward program, internet I cancelled, and some other weird charge from some internet site - got all my money back from the internet provider as they admitted they screwed up and had my cancellation on record, and the reward program - who also admitted the mistake, but think only 2 of 4 months of the other company that I had no clue what it was.
